A Little About Us
Welcome to our Costa Rican cultural experience!
Immerse yourself in a warm and friendly Costa Rican cultural experience being treated like family! We offer cultural activities such as live folkloric music, cooking classes and tortillas, sugar cane mill sugar, artisan liquor class, lunch or dinner with Costa Rican Seranates , and much more at Finca Organica Monterrey, one of the most charming and authentic cultural sites near the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. This farm was a sacred place for the original Botos Indians 3000 years ago and an important site on the Route of the Heroes during the 1948 Civil War, with which the army would later be eliminated in Costa Rica.
The Herreras, a family of musicians and founders of the Cultour Foundation, are known for their warm Costa Rican hospitality and generosity.
The Cultour Foundation
The Cultour Foundation is an educational fund founded as the Association for Cultural Exchange, which promotes understanding through education, music and art. The foundation has been a pioneer in the education of children, assisting local rural schools through a Scholarship Program that keeps rural children studying and not working in the countryside.

Likewise, we have been distinguished by the Iberoamerican Leader Network, which recognizes our social contribution and the promotion of sustainable tourism in the region. In addition, the U.S. Hispanic Leadership Community has given us special recognition in Florida for our positive impact on the community. These awards reaffirm our commitment to the cultural and tourism development of Costa Rica.
